GoodQuickLook respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app, product pages, and support pages handle data.

Local file access

GoodQuickLook's core preview features run entirely locally on your Mac. The app reads relevant files only when you explicitly select a file and trigger Quick Look, Thumbnail, or Finder preview generation. File contents, file names, and folder structures are not uploaded to our servers for previewing.

App Store purchases

GoodQuickLook Pro purchases, payments, taxes, refunds, Family Sharing, purchase restoration, and receipt validation are handled by Apple App Store. We do not receive full payment card numbers or Apple ID passwords. The app may read Apple-provided transaction status to unlock Pro benefits.

Support communication

When you contact us by email, GitHub Issues, or another support channel, we process the contact details, issue description, attachments, macOS version, GoodQuickLook version, file type, and reproduction steps you choose to provide so we can respond and troubleshoot.

Website access logs

GoodQuickLook product pages, privacy policy, terms, and support pages are served by website hosting providers. Hosting and security services may generate basic access logs for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and availability troubleshooting.

How data is used

We use limited data only to provide membership benefits, handle technical support, fix issues, protect service security, and meet strict legal requirements.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data under any circumstances. Necessary infrastructure data may be processed by Apple, website hosting providers, or support channels you choose to use.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you provided during support communication. App Store purchase, refund, and subscription rights are securely handled through Apple ID and the App Store.

Retention and deletion

Support communication records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, product maintenance, security troubleshooting, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of personal information provided through support communication at support@funnytoys.app.
